Themes and Workshops

Case studies and presentations are presently being identified for use as discussion materials for each workshop. If you are interested in submitting a case study or presentation for use to stimulate discussion and illustrate important experiences and lessons for a particular theme / workshop, please contact the workshop organizing group members directly, cc workshop@itmems.org. The word limit per case study is 2000 words.

Thirteen themes have so far been proposed for discussion at ITMEMS 3, through an on-line consultation with the coral reef management community and partners hosted on the ICRIForum.

Each theme is being developed for presentation at ITMEMS 3 by an organizing group, comprising volunteer experts / practitioners from a wide range of geographical locations and disciplines. The organizing groups are responsible for designing and facilitating up to four 3-hour workshops focused on key issues relevant to each theme.
