Goal

To develop the capacities of coastal and marine managers to implement programs and projects that support the conservation and sustainable use of coral reefs and related ecosystems at the local, national, regional and global levels.

Objectives

• To provide an opportunity for coral reef managers to share experiences and lessons learned through the multi-disciplinary consideration of management-related case studies

• To identify gaps and priorities for future action to manage tropical marine ecosystems

• To evaluate progress of management implementation since previous ITMEMS

• To strengthen and expand the network of coral reef managers
