The Cozumel field trip will take place on Saturday 21 October, following the close of ITMEMS3 and prior to the start of the ICRI General Meeting.
Participants will be picked up at the El Cozumeleņo Hotel at 10.00 am to join a land and marine tour of the Cozumel Reefs National Park and other parts of Cozumel Island. There will be an opportunity to snorkel and enjoy some of the reefs that have made this National Park a favourite destination for divers worldwide.
We recommend you bring a non-oil-based biodegradable sun block. Also, as many of Cozumel's beaches are weathered ironstone, it is best to wear footwear with a good sole. Lunch (not included) will be available at Palancar beach from where we will return to the Hotel late in the afternoon by scheduled bus.
